Resident Evil Village’s DLC Shadow of Rose is set to launch this year and during the TGS Capcom confirmed this will end the Winter’s Saga.

As reported by IGN, Capcom stated that moving forward Resident Evil will explore new or old characters. Resident Evil Village ended with Rose, now grown, visiting her father before being taken away by Chris Redfield’s men. Shadow of Rose will have Rose exploring her gifts and coming to terms with what she is.

“You know, we felt we had to make something as good or better than Resident Evil RE: 2 and RE: 3,” Kinoshita said. “Compared to the previous games in the series, Resident Evil Village has an exceptionally large variety of player actions. You can guard, you can move while crouching, and there is a lot of examining objects. We made thorough adjustments to ensure that those unique animations would look completely connected, and that it would be playable at a good tempo.”

Since Resident Evil 7 Ethan was met with a mixed reception. In Resident Evil Village the ordinary hero was seen in a more popular light. Going through hell and back once again to save his daughter.

Resident Evil Village launches on October 28. It’ll include Shadow or Rose, new playable characters for mercenaries, and a third-person option.
