Despite the developer confirming that Lance McDonald, notorious for hacking games and finding secrets, found the game’s final secret another one has been discovered. A secret room in the Copied City. Someone randomly posted a video on the Nier Automata subreddit showing they found a secret room in the Copied City. So far no one else has worked out how they managed to make this secret door appear. The person was apparently able to access the room through a secret room that leads to a series of fights against machines. The room was discovered 1 month ago but no one knows how. It’s not possible mod Nier Automata in this according to McDonald so it must be real or a really elaborate fake. This wouldn’t be surprising as Nier is notorious for its secrets and hidden rooms. Such as a way to end the game from the first fight.
