After a delay earlier this year for Starfield, Todd Howard came to the Xbox and Bethesda Showcase this year bearing gifts. Not only did we see gameplay and an extended look at Redfall, but we also got to see a deep dive into Starfield.

From a post on Xbox Wire, announcing the gameplay trailer: “The year is 2330. Humanity has ventured beyond our solar system, settling new planets, and living as a spacefaring people. From humble beginnings as a space miner, you will join Constellation — the last group of space explorers seeking rare artifacts throughout the galaxy — and navigate the vast expanse of the Settled Systems in Bethesda Game Studios’ biggest and most ambitious game.”

Starfield is coming in 2023 for Xbox Series consoles and PC. It will also be available on day one for Xbox Game Pass subscribers. What did you think of the gameplay? Are you glad the game was delayed until next year, seeing how ambitious it is?
