It’s been a long year since Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge was announced. Today at Summer Game Fest, however, developer Tribute Games and publisher Dotemu made a couple of big announcements. Casey Jones is joining the game as a playable character you’ll be able to unlock, and the game is coming out very soon – next week!

Another surprise – instead of including 4 player online co-op, you can get up to five friends to join your adventures online. Watch out though, as enemies will scale up to meet your numbers!

Shredder’s Revenge releases on June 16 for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series consoles, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC. If you’re an Xbox Game Pass subscriber, it’ll be available on the same day as part of your subscription.
