Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order was the first EA published Star Wars title to receive high acclaim at launch. Developed by Respawn Entertainment, best known for Apex Legends and Titanfall, this was the studio’s first attempt at a third-person action-adventure title. The studio created an exceptional combat system and pitted players against powerful opponents. The most significant being the Inquisitors who constantly tested the player’s mettle. Since its launch, many have been yearning for Cal’s return and he’s coming this 2023 with Star Wars Jedi: Survivor.

The title was leaked already but we have more information, including a new trailer. As shown above, this new installment takes place 5 years after the previous game. Cal is on the run from the Empire as Cal believes he is the last Jedi. With BD-1 Cal must ally himself with new characters and explore new worlds to grow his connection with the Force.

Despite the massively positive reception Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order wasn’t without faults. The biggest was the lack of customization elements. Cal could change his lightsaber and wear different ponchos but more options wouldn’t hurt.

Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is set for a 2023 release.
