Gunzilla Games announced today OTG (Off The Grid), a new third-person battle royale shooting coming this 2023.

Set in a dystopian future and focused on narrative progression. Players will face off against 150 players in hectic fights with crafting systems in place. Story missions on the same map. Players can choose how to control the how the story unfolds with the story impacting everyone.

The developers did not show any gameplay, only a teaser above.

The battle royale genre has become overwhelming for many. So many games have attempted to stand against the kings of the genre, Apex Legends and Fortnite. Unfortunately, most battle royale titles end up failing due to lack of support or appeal. Currently, Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodhunt is making huge tracklines with its engaging parkour system and fast-pace third-person combat.

It’s possible for Off the Grid to excel but it’ll be an uphill battle. The promises listed are grand but execution is another story.
