Ratchet & Clank’s first entry on the PlayStation 5 garnered Insomniac Games plenty of notoriety in 2021, and it shows in its nine nominations at the annual D.I.C.E. Awards. Bethesda’s Deathloop followed with eight, and The Game Awards Game of the Year Winner It Takes Two followed with six, as did Inscryption. Last year’s ceremony was held digitally due to COVID-19. Naughty Dog’s The Last of Us Part II entered the night having the most nominations, but it was Supergiant’s Hades that stole the show, taking home Game of the year as well as four other awards.
