When Life is Strange: True Colors was announced in March, it wasn’t the only Life is Strange news that day. Life is Strange and its prequel, Before the Storm would be getting the remaster treatment in the Life is Strange: Remastered Collection. During Deck Nine’s segment at Sunday’s Square Enix Presents, the studio brought a trailer for the Remastered Collection, showing off the improvements to the game. The games will also be releasing on September 30th, almost three weeks after the release of True Colors. Nintendo announced during their Direct on Tuesday that it’s even coming to the Nintendo Switch later this year. Textures look sharper, and details like Max’s freckles are more noticeable, and Chloe’s blue hair seems richer. Character movements and animations have also improved; one of the biggest critiques, when they were initially released, was the stiffness of the characters and sync between speech and mouth movements. You can purchase the Life is Strange: Remastered Collection in two ways. It’ll be available on its own, or as part of the Life is Strange: True Colors Ultimate Edition.
