With a month before the release date, Mass Effect Legendary Edition has gone gold. Mass Effect Legendary Edition project director Mac Walters has declared it officially on his Twitter, meaning it’s been signed off as ready to launch. Mass Effect Legendary Edition has gone GOLD! It's been quite a journey – time to celebrate briefly. Maybe even dance a little… if that's you're thing. #MassEffect #Legendary pic.twitter.com/cvDmGjFrSi — Mac Walters (@macwalterslives) April 9, 2021 The game, which players have been excited to learn more about ever since its announcement back in November 2020, is now nearly here. Something fans we excited to hear was that the, less than satisfactory ending of the third wont be the same. If you were one of the users that preferred the end that the DLC gave to the game, you are in luck, the Extended Cut ending is now the game’s default finale. Also, the Bioware team has said that the next chapter of the Mass Effect universe is also in the early stages of production, and while Bioware wouldn’t say more on it, the studio said it is “looking forward” to sharing information on it in the future. Mass Effect Legendary Edition will launch on May 14th for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. Are you excited? Will you be picking up a copy? Tell us in the comment section below!
