The release of the Snyder Cut of Justice League wasn’t the only DC Comics-related news this week as Warner Bros. announced a delay for the hotly anticipated Gotham Knights to 2022.

In a post on the official Gotham Knights Twitter account, the studio said that “We are giving the game more time to deliver the best possible experience for players. Thank you to our amazing fans for your tremendous support of Gotham Knights.”

That doesn’t mean we’re going to go without news of the game until next year however, as they closed the statement with “We look forward to showcasing more of the game in the coming months.”

Many of us here at Gaming Access Weekly can’t wait to experience Gotham Knights; after all, it’s a Batman game without Batman. What are you hoping to see from Warner Bros. in the next few months? More gameplay? A sweet, sweet Collector’s Edition? Let us know!
