Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War latest trailer released recently. Showing off new gameplay, cinematics, and revealing new information about the game. Including how players will need to pay an additional $10 for the next-generation upgrade.

Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War is a direct sequel to Call of Duty: Black Ops.ย It’ll include the key characters Hudson, Woods, and Mason and take place during the Cold War. With locations such as Turkey, Berlin, the Soviet KGB playing a role in the game’s narrative.ย Black Ops 3’s custom character option will return along with the optional dialogue feature.ย Zombies will return and a multiplayer trailer is set for September 9th, with PS4 owners getting early access.

Those hoping for a free next-gen upgrade, the answer is no. Activision is the publisher so you have to pay for that, unlike CD Projekt RED’sย Cyberpunk 2077.ย You have to pay $10 for the next generation upgrade.

Just to show you how greedy the company is, they even altered the trailer to appease the Chinese government. Slasher reported that the original “Know Your History” trailer was altered and re-uploaded without the Tiananmen Square portion.

Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold Warย launches on PS4, Xbox One, and PC this November 13th. Next-gen versions are also confirmed.
