During the Xbox Games Showcase today, Microsoft showed a cinematic trailer for State of Decay 3. The sequel to the Xbox exclusive didn’t show off too much but what was shown does give off an extremely creepy vibe. Check it out.

Developed by Microsoft’s own Undead Labs, the survival series began in 2013 with a generally well-received first entry for Xbox 360. A second slice followed in 2018 for Xbox One which was also pretty well recieved.

The game is based on the building and survival of your camp/town. Building defenses for hordes and finding food/water/medical supplies to keep your people alive. As well as going hunting to take out bigger pockets of hordes of zombies.

If the trailer has any reference to games it seems the animals might have been infected so coming by food may be harder this time around.

Unfortunately, there was no release date for State of Decay 3, but stay tuned for more information as it becomes available right here at Gaming Access Weekly.
