During the Upload VR Showcase, a trailer for Trial By Teng dropped to add to the mystery that started more than a year ago. The brand new trailer that gives a better look into the style and gameplay has to offer. The trailer plays like a satirical tourism ad for hell. It welcomes you to King Yama’s place. However, instead of sitting down and sipping tea with the Ruler of all Hells, you’ll be solving puzzles and running through gameplay to off your ‘Karmic debt’. Of course, you’ll be doing this all under the watchful eye of Yama himself. The art style for Trial By Teng looks lovely, even for hell, and the satirical humor in the trailer works really well. There are all types of different hellish environments that look super enticing as well, like the River Styx-esque boat ride towards the end, the Carnaval with all types of games, and even the “Scrapyard of Souls”. While there is no set release date for Trial By Teng, it is set for release on PC VR platforms, with no word on potential Oculus Quest or PSVR ports just yet. However, you can add it to your Steam Wishlist now.
