Tuesday morning, Sony, along with Christian Spicer – a writer, podcaster, and huge fan of The Last of Us, announced a limited series podcast about The Last of Us.

The series has been in the works for about a year now, Spicer noted on the Blog. The eight episode run will reflect on the game with developers, cast, and collaborators that brought it to life, and some tidbits about the sequel.

Episode 1 is out now, and it is fitting it’s about the first few hours of The Last of Us. Featured in the podcast are Game Directors Neil Druckmann and Anthony Newman, and Ellie and Joel themselves, Ashley Johnson, and Troy Baker.

New episodes will drop every Tuesday and the guest lineup will change each time. In the announcement post on the PlayStation Blog, Spicer notes that we’ll hear from the game’s composer Gustavo Santaolalla, and cast members including Jeffrey Pierce, Laura Bailey, Shannon Woodward and Ian Alexander.

The first few episodes will stay away from Part II details but starting with the episode on July 7th they’ll be turning the focus of the podcast to the newest game: everything from the story, gameplay, and development process.

You can download the podcast on several different platforms, including Apple Podcasts, Spotify, and more.

The Last of Us Part II releases on June 19th.
