Skater XL is the evolution in skateboarding games that was announced during IGN’s Future Gaming Show today. Take a look at the trailer below.

Easy Day Studios Pty Ltd, wants you to experience board control and responsiveness like a pro while you skate. You will even skate in legendary real-world skate spots. Style your tricks the way you want, from the way you flip the board to the way you move your feet. Feel connected to your board like never before while you Indy Nosebone your way to being awesome.

Skate XL had a few points they wanted to have audiences get across from their show off at the FGS.

Style and Control: With new groundbreaking and intuitive controls, skateboarding in a video game has never felt more authentic, fluid, and responsive. Style tricks any way you want and make every trick and line your own.

Legendary Spots: Shred real world legendary skate spots, like the LA Courthouse which is featured in early access.

Skater XL does require an Xbox 360, One, PS3 or PS4 compatible controller to play. There are apparently no keyboard controls available.

Skater XL is dropping onto Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, PC, and PlayStation 4 on July 7th.
