Today during the New Game Plus Expo, Bloodstained: Curse of the Moon 2 was announced. The 8-bit action game from Inti Creates that acted as a curtain-raiser for Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night is getting its first sequel ‘soon’. None other than Koji Igarashi himself came out to announce Bloodstained: Curse of the Moon 2. It will follow on in a similar style from the original and this time out it boasts three new playable characters and a more expansive campaign. Take a look at the trailer below. Curse of the Moon 2 features multiple playable characters, including the original’s Zangetsu – the “sword-wielding exorcist,” Dominique – an “exorcist sent by the church who heals her allies and uses her spears to fell demons,” Robert – a “sharpshooting soldier capable of sniping his demonic foes,” and Hachi – a “Corgi who pulverizes demons by controlling a colossal suit of magicked armor.” It sounds like the greatest game ever made. It’s listed as coming to Xbox One, PS4, PC, and Nintendo Switch, with a release date announced as “soon.” What do you think about the new sequel? Tell us in the comment section below.
