Sony is putting on another State of Play, just about two weeks after an episode that was dedicated to Sucker Punch’s Ghost of Tsushima. This time? We’re getting a deep dive into The Last of Us Part II. Sid Shuman, Senior Director of Sony Interactive Entertainment’s Content Communications took to the PlayStation Blog to announce the show. It sounds like the episode will be hosted by The Last of Us Part II’s Director Neil Druckmann, writing that he “will walk you through details of the gameplay experience and story.” It looks like the episode will run about 20 minutes, including an eight-minute gameplay sequence which has never been seen before. Also like the Ghost of Tsushima episode, there won’t be any PS5 news or updates here either; just a straight up “deep dive into the world of The Last of Us Part II.” Just a reminder, from all of us at Gaming Access Weekly: Hopefully, you were able to stay spoiler-free, and everyone here at GAW feels for those that were. Please continue to not post the spoilers, there are people who have been waiting seven years for this game and are still excited to see how it ends. Keep in mind that the only way this fire spreads is because you are spreading them. Please keep in mind that everyone still wants to play this game without knowing what is going to happen. We are sorry that you may have run into spoilers but let it end with you. Please. Thank you. The broadcast will begin on Wednesday at 1:00pm Pacific/4:00pm Eastern, and be featured on Sony’s Twitch and YouTube channels! The Last of Us Part II will release on June 19th.
