Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles is one of the lesser-known games in the series. A remastered was confirmed and Square Enix has revealed it’ll launch this August 27th.

Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles takes place in an unnamed fantasy world inhabited by 4 races. Players choose 1 of the races and travel the world in search of myrrh, a substance used by shattered crystals from the Great Crystal that protect the races from the toxic miasma. All while learning the source of the miasma.

Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles Remastered Edition launches on Switch and PS4 this August 27th.
