Today, Dotemu, the developers of Streets of Rage 4 announced the news that fans have been waiting for. An official release date, and some new news the developers announced. The newest information they revealed is Streets of Rage 4 will include a PvP Battle Mode.

As shown in the trailer above, fans will be able to pick the game up on April 30th.

Also, as revealed, in the game, you will be able to select a character and brawl with 1-3 others across several modes. You can try out Battle Mode with SoR4 characters or pick from the complete roster of twelve retro characters once they are unlocked.

Upon release, fans can also expect the game to contain music from Streets of Rage 1 and 2, 17 playable characters, and two-person online co-op and up to four-player offline co-op.

The game will be released for PC, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox One on April 30th. It will cost players $24.99.
