Metroid Prime 4 is currently in development and no word on an expected release date has been provided since it was restarted. Recently, a Twitter user found a listing on Best Buy hinting at a possible release for the original trilogy for the Switch.

The listing has no release window or box art. This could be a mistake but Nintendo has been releasing older games on the Switch. The Metroid Prime Trilogy is often considered one of the best games of its generation. With incredible boss fights, strong exploration elements, and fantastic visuals. All of which still hold up today. So it’s not insane to think Nintendo would rerelease the games. They’re available on the Wii and Wii U, but who’s playing those systems anymore?
