Recently, Echo was confirmed as the 32nd hero for Overwatch. With an origin trailer released and now a detailed video showing off the AI’s abilities.

Echo is an offensive hero. Capable of shooting in 3 directions at once. She can fly and glide through the air. With more control in horizontal movements when falling.

Echo can use sticky bombs as an alternate fire and a focused beam to drain an enemy’s health or barrier to 50%.

And finally her ultimate. Echo can transform into other heroes on the enemy team. Once transformed Echo can charge its ultimate at a higher rate than normal.

Jeff Kaplan did make note that they will be watching how Echo is used by players. And they will make adjustments to the hero depending on the data.

Overwatch is available now on Nintendo Switch, PC, PS4, and Xbox One. Echo is currently available for testing on the PTR.
