Fallout 76 is getting the long-awaited NPC update, I mean Wastelanders, this April 7th. With the game also launching on Steam the same day.

The Wastelanders update will add new enemies, items, and armor to obtain. And, of course, NPCs that will alter the game’s core narrative. This update is expected to be huge so clear some space.

Fallout 76 will also make its way to Steam, being a Bethesda launcher exclusive before.

Fallout 76 has been in the news for many reasons, mostly negative. As the title launched in an unfinished and broken state. More updates would be added that both made the game better and worse. With numerous exploits being reported that allowed hackers to take items or have unfair advantages. And there was Fallout 1st that gave gameplay advantages and access to private used servers to those who paid a premium price. And it was also broken at launch.

This update could be the change Fallout 76 needs. But judging from history, this could be a massive mess of an update.

Fallout 76 is now available for PC, Xbox One, and PS4.
