Byleth is the next fighter coming to Super Smash Bros. Ultimate and won’t be the last.

Series director Masahiro Sakurai revealed the character to kickoff a livestream Thursday morning and closed it out with the promise of six more characters to come for Nintendo’s colossal video game crossover.

Both the male and female version of the Fire Emblem: Three Houses protagonist will be playable and serve as the game’s sixth DLC character and the fifth and final piece of Smash Ultimate’s post-release Fighters Pass. Sakurai opened the livestream explaining that Byleth was being developed in secrecy, even among the rest of Nintendo, so they won’t be available for download right away. It was announced soon after that they’re planned for release on Jan. 28, which is also the same date when pre-orders will go up for the next six characters in a second Fighters Pass.

Byleth follows the additions of Super Mario’s Piranha Plant (sold individually after launch), Persona 5’s Joker, Dragon Quest’s Hero, Rare’s Banjo & Kazooie, and Fatal Fury’s Terry Bogard.

The fighters never come alone, however, and Byleth is no different. Garreg Mach, Three Houses’ main hub area, will be arriving as a new stage, along with 11 songs from the game’s soundtrack, and a Three Houses-themed Spirit Board.

Byleth is the eighth Fire Emblem representative — joining the ranks of Marth, Lucina, Roy, Chrom, Ike, Robin, and Corrin — to be added to Smash Ultimate’s roster, and will bring the game up to 75 playable characters (not including Echo Fighters) once released.

Also revealed during the livestream were additional Mii Fighter costumes from Assassin’s Creed, Rabbids, Mega Man X, Mega Man Battle Network, and Cuphead (which will come with its own song “Floral Fury”). They will also be available on Jan. 28 for $0.75 each. An Ancient Soldier Gear costume from The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild will come included with purchase of the second Fighters Pass.
