Another two stars from the last gen have found a new home on the Switch.

Metro Redux was announced for Nintendo’s console-handheld hybrid on Thursday, and will be releasing on Feb. 28.

The two-game collection comes with remastered versions of 4A Games’ Metro 2033 and Metro: Last Light, along with all of each game’s respective DLC. Pre-orders for the Switch version are now up online, with physical reserves offering a double-sided box art inlay, a game case sleeve, four double-sided art cards, a double-sided poster, and a pin badge set.

Metro 2033 originally released in 2010 and Metro: Last Light in 2013, with both being generally well received as story-driven first-person shooters that mixed in elements of survival horror. Metro Redux came along a year later in 2014 to bring the games on to the current gen PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, and now the Switch almost six years later.

4A’s third entry in the series, Metro Exodus released on the PC, PS4, and Xbox One early last year.

Nick is a junior staff writer at GAW who loves hockey and a good RPG. The first game he played was Ice Hockey on a hand-me-down NES, and having grown up with the PS1, he knows the first three Crash Bandicoot games like the back of his hand and can recite every track from PaRappa the Rapper on the spot if you ask him to. Along with writing for GAW, Nick also works on the sports desk at the Philadelphia Inquirer. If he isn't on skates in his free time, he's probably trying to cycle through several 60-plus hour games at once.
