Not exactly Christmas gifts, but happily accepted regardless. A demo for Final Fantasy VII Remake and the dormant Patapon 2 Remastered appear to be on the way as PSN data tracker Gamestat spotted listings for both in the PlayStation Store’s database just before the holiday. その他、PSストア近日配信情報 ■「PATAPON2 ドンチャカ (Patapon2 Remastered)」パタポン2のPS4リマスター版と思われます。 ■「イモータル・レガシー 不滅の禍 Console Edition」詳細不明 pic.twitter.com/uQCb1NawSC — れんか (@Renka_schedule) December 25, 2019 With FFVII Remake fast approaching its March 2020 launch, Square Enix has been building up hype in the last eight months with a steady stream of info and trailers, along with a bombing run demo that has made the rounds over the summer at PAX, Gamescom, and Tokyo Game Show. Best guess is that same demo will be what is put up for download once it goes live. As for Patapon 2, the remaster was announced at PSX 2017, but updates on the title went radio silent after. That the rhythm-based strategy game seems to still be on track for its PS4 release and not far off from it is sure to be a sigh of relief for the series’ fans. This is the second time this month that the PlayStation Store has leaked upcoming releases. The Resident Evil 3 remake was listed early, offering a first look at the cover art and new character designs. The game was then officially announced a week later during PlayStation’s December State of Play briefing.
