Need for Speed Heat is set to launch next week and there’s a large riding on this game to redeem the series. With a new colorful launch trailer now available.

The launch trailer looks beautiful, with slick cars, fire, and lots of color. However, many fans will likely remember how the previous game, Need for Speed Payback launched. Similar to Star Wars Battlefront 2, which also launched around the same time, the game was loaded with slot machine microtransactions. Providing pay-to-win systems that made everyone livid.

Need for Speed Heat promises to redeem the series and there has been positive reception with the EA application that launched last month. Providing players access to the customization tool and choosing 5 of the 2 million designs to be featured in the launch trailer. But again, this is EA and a lot of gamers are still skeptical.

Need for Speed Heat November 8 for PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
