The Xbox Elite Wireless Controller Series 2 is set to launch in a few days and recently Microsoft uploaded a new unboxing video.

The new Xbox Elite Controller will feature an internal battery, a 40-hour lifespan on a single charge, can be charged while inside the included case, and comes with additional paddles, thumbsticks, and d-pad. Along with a 14-day pass to Xbox Game Ultimate Pass.

The controller, along with all Xbox One controllers, will be compatible with Xbox Scarlett when it launches.

I’m still not sold on the new Xbox Elite Controller. I purchased the original model and within a week it started drifting. I returned the controller and the replacement model had the same issues. At this point, I’ll wait and see if the new model is without issue.

The Xbox Elite Wireless Controller Series 2 is to launch on November 4, 2019.
