As of September 19, 2019, Bethesda return to the media outlets with unflattering news. The reason for this was product recall for another of its collectibles. The Nuka-Cola themed T-51 Power Armor Helmet exclusive to GameStop released earlier this summer has been recalled by the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC). CPSC states in their report:

“Mold can be present on the fabric insert inside the helmet, posing a risk of respiratory or other infections in individuals with compromised immune systems, damaged lungs or an allergy to mold.”

The recall was issued for 20,000 units, offering a full refund to any consumer that had bought this Fallout 76 collectible helmet through by contacting the 1-800 number or email provided in the CPSC page.

This does not apply to the T-51 Power Armor helmet that came with the game’s Power Armor Edition that was released at launch. The recall only applies to the Nuka Cola themed Fallout 76 T-51 Power Armor helmet manufactured by Chronicle LLC.
