Project Resistance was teased as a cooperative survivor game set in the Resident Evil universe. Now, Capcom has provided the first gameplay trailer for Project Resistance. Showing off cooperative gameplay.

The trailer shows 4 players taking control of 4 different survivors. Each one with a unique ability such as melee combat, providing addition defenses, healing, and hacking. The team must try and make it to the end. However, 1 player will be taking on the role of Mastermind. This player can alter the environment and summon infected to attack the players. Even going as far as to control the various monsters, including the T-00.

As of now, the trailer has a split reception. With nearly 50% dislike to like ratio. Personally, I have faith in Capcom. They’ve been on a roll since last year with titles such as Monster Hunter World, Resident Evil 2 2019, Devil May Cry V, and Monster Hunter World: Iceborne. Trying something different isn’t a bad thing. If you want to try the game a closed beta is coming this October 4th for those who sign up on

Project Resistance is in development for PS4, PC, and Xbox One.
