Cyberpunk 2077 is on everyone’s mind. The game is looking to become another masterpiece from CD Projekt RED. With the developer providing more information about the options available to the player. Including class builds, gangs, narrative options, and how to create your own V.

The trailer highlights only 2 builds, Solo and Netrunner. Solo builds are designed for killing and massive destruction. Able to rip doors open, use turrets, and take the most powerful NPCs in the game as meatshields.

Netrunners are more stealth focused. Designed for hacking and infiltration. You’re given ample options to evade detection and use the enemies security system against them. Providing you take out there runner.

Pacifica, the low-income area where the demo takes place, was intended to be where the rich and elite would live. After an economic crash, the project was abandoned and now it’s nothing but destroyed and unfinished buildings. The Voodoo Boys, a Haitian gang, now rule the area and worship technology. Attempting to find a way to connect to free AI and discover a way to escape into the net.

After being employed by the gang you encounter a rival gang, The Animals. A deadly band of people who use a steroid called Juice to turn them into hulking beasts. If you’re a solo, you can take them but as a Netrunner. Evasion is necessary unless you want your head torn off.

Lastly, we see Netease, a company that runs Cyberpunk 2077’s world through their dominance of the net. Here you’re given ample opportunity to change your decisions, keep following the Voodoo Boys or betray them and side with Netease. After all, the Voodoo Boys betrayed you first.

Johnny Silverhands, who was revealed at E3 2019, is another potential ally. Despite being only virtual and stuck in your head, he has his own desires and objectives. Some won’t appeal to you and you can decide what you want to do.

Cyberpunk 2077 is looking to have a much more elaborate and branching narrative than The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. Which is already considered one of the best video games of all time, in story and gameplay.

Cyberpunk 2077 launches on April 16, 2020, on PlayStation 4, Google Stadia, Xbox One, and PC.
