The Gears of War franchise is notorious for having high-speed competitive multiplayer. Those diving into Gears 5 will need to learn the mechanics if they wish to survive the arena. Fortunately, The Coalition is providing a training mode called Boot Camp to train newcomers.

Those who’ve played Gears of War will already understand the necessities of swapping cover, blind firing, and the over-powered Gnasher but newcomers will likely be unaware of these mechanics. Unlike traditional bots, in matches, Boot Camp will systematically train the player is various systems within the game. This includes weapons, tossing grenades, executions, aiming, and cover.

This is definitely a bit of positive news for Gears 5 following the negative response of removing smoking and tobacco from the game.

Gears 5 releases on September 10 for the Xbox One, Xbox Game Pass, and PC. The first beta will start off next week.
