The Outer Worlds is Obsidian Entertainment’s next big game. After the disaster of Fallout 76, many are hoping the developers of Fallout: New Vegas to provide something to wash the taste of title out of their mouths. With the game now confirmed for Nintendo Switch.

Currently, no release date has been provided. With the Nintendo Switch version coming at a later date. It’ll be handled by Virtuos and release this year.

Like many ports to the Nintendo Switch, it’s likely this version of the game will come with sacrifices. Perhaps lower resolution or frame rate. This has become a norm as the Nintendo Switch versions of games require changes to ensure the game works on the hardware.

The Outer Worlds will launch on PS4, Xbox One, and PC on October 25, 2019.
