Netflix announced Tuesday that Cuphead is headed to the online streaming service. The Cuphead Show! is based on Studio MDHR’s side scroller and is expected to “expand on the characters and world of Cuphead,” according to a press release. There is no release date for The Cuphead Show! yet. The show will be produced and drawn by Netflix Animation. It will be executively produced by Dave Masson and Cosmo Segurson. The show will not be hand-drawn like the game but will be drawn digitally. Cuphead is available to play on Nintendo Switch, PC and Xbox. The game was first announced in 2013 and was released in 2018. The latest chapter, The Delicious Last Course, is coming in 2020.
