Monster Hunter World: Iceborne releases later this year and will include not only a new region but several subspecies of existing monsters. One of which is an acid version of Glavenus, who debuted back in Monster Hunter Generations. Boasting more precise control of its tail and corrosive sulphuric acid debuffing abilities, the Acidic Glavenus will test all aspects of your hunting skills and readiness. #Iceborne pic.twitter.com/wZ1ISB2U55 — Monster Hunter (@monsterhunter) July 23, 2019 The short video shows the variant using its powerful blade-like tail to swing at the player. Sometimes dipping it in acid and using it for added damage. The video does show its possible to cut off the tail, leaving the monster without its primary form of attack. Glavenus is a powerful predator monster who is relentless. Using powerful roars to scare off potential threats but can easily kill targets larger than itself. Monster Hunter World: Iceborne launches for PS4 and Xbox One this September 6th and PC this winter.
