Announced at the end of the Microsoft E3 press conference, the latest entry in the Halo series will be launching alongside the next Xbox dubbed “Project Scarlet” in fall 2020. The 5-minute long Halo Infinite trailer featured a UNSC marine discovering Master Chief floating in space. After being revived by the marine, the trailer shifts to a view of the original ring installation from Halo: Combat Evolved.

While the trailer did not show any gameplay, it does set the tone story wise and gives us a fixed date on when we can finally get our hands on the game.
