The OUYA crowdfunding campaign was a success, raising $3.7 million in 2 days on Kickstarter. When the product launched, it was a massive flop. With poor reviews detailing the system’s poor controllers, connectivity issues, and lack of interesting games. The rights were purchased by Razer in 2015 and now is closing the digital store this June 25th.

Razer is closing OUYA’s store, MadCatz MOJO, and The Forge TV all on June 25th. In anticipation, Razer has detailed what will follow. Stating games following that day will be available for download, all funds must be spent before that date and cannot be redeemed for cash, and the system can still be used through Android TV setup.

If you want to use any purchased digital content through these services, you must download them before June 25th.

It’s kinda surprising that the OUYA lasted as long as it did. But now it’s time for this curtain to close.
