With the new update that went live yesterday, May 17, 2019, more Pokémon from the Sinnoh region can be found in the wild and hatch from eggs with a few new special additions and power moves.

The game is adding Cherubi, Gible, Hippopotas, Burmy, and all of the evolved forms of those ‘mons. Also, a new powerful Ground-type Charge Attack called Earth Power that could lower your opponent’s defense in training will be available with the Ground-type Pokémon coming from Shinnoh. However, other Pokémon like Aerodactyl, Nidoqueen, Nidoking and more, can also appear with this powerful move.

In addition to this, three new Lures Modules have been also added that attract specific Pokémon types and adds a new fun kick.

The Glacial Lure Module attracts Water and Ice-type Pokémon. The Mossy Lure Modules will attract Bug, Grass and Poison-type Pokémon. Last but not least, the Magnetic Lure Module attracts Electric, Steel and Rock-type Pokémon. But that’s not all. The Lure Modules enables evolutions to certain Pokémon.

Yes, the Glacial Lure Module will enable Eevee to evolve into Glaceon, the Mossy Lure Module will enable Eevee to evolve Leafeon and the Magnetic Lure Module will enable the evolution for Magneton and Nosepass.

How to enable those evolutions you ask? Just go to the nearest PokéStop, activate the Lure Modules and spin the PokéStop. When activated, it will give you the option to evolve the Pokémon.

All three Lure Modules are now available in the in-game shop for purchase and will be available later as field research rewards.

PokemonGO is free to download in iOS and Android. See you out in the field trainers.
