Monster Hunter: World has been one of Capcom’s major successes, attracting thousands of new fans to the series. The previously announced expansion, Iceborne, has been confirmed to release this September 9th.

The expansion will bring unfamiliar monsters, brand new narrative, and finally a different area to explore. A giant snowy covered area full of materials waiting to be harvested.

Currently, the release date is for consoles but a PC release date will come this winter.

Monster Hunter: World Iceborne will launch this September 6th for PS4 and Xbox One. Those who preorder the expansion will get the Yukumo layered armor set for free. Digital preorders will include the Silver Knight layered armor, 3 gestures, 2 sticker sets, 1 face pain, 1 hairstyle, and 1 decor set for your room.

If you wish to purchase both the core game and expansion, a Master Edition will launch as well.
