In a surprise announcement, Epic Games has purchased Psyonix. The developer of the popular live-service title Rocket League.

Those worried that Rocket League will be removed from Steam, Epic Games told US Gamer that will not happen. The game will remain on Steam for purchase.

Psyonix spoke about the deal on their official site, stating that support for Rocket League will not change.
