While we currently know about plans to remake The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening, could a follow up to The Legend of Zelda:Breath of the Wild also be on its way? The Xenoblade series studio Monolith Soft, who previously played an instrumental role in developing Breath of the Wild, is now recruiting staff to work on a new Zelda title. A staff recruitment page lists openings for programmers, designers, technical artists, planners, and management. Whatever is being worked on, expect it to be a larger scale project. They previously played a role in developing Skyward Sword, but their work really shined in the design of Breath of the Wild‘s open world. The project could very well turn out to be some kind of pseudo-sequel to 2017’s hit Zelda title. After all, with Monolith Soft in the mix, you might see similarly styled game. However, you’ll just have to keep your eyes peeled for what’s coming next. The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening is due to release this year. In regards to Monolith Soft, they’re currently focusing on two games. One game is being handled by the Xenoblade team, while the second production is this new Zelda title.
