The Game Awards 2018 is days away and with the host, Geoff Keighley teasing new reveals many are hoping for a lot of acclaimed titles and hidden projects to be shown. However, some developers have decided to crush rumors about their projects appearing. First Rocksteady, and now CD Projekt RED.

Community Lead Marcin Momot decided to tell fans the hard truth, Cyberpunk 2077 won’t be at The Game Awards 2018.

We’re looking forward to seeing all the reveals and announcements during this year’s @thegameawards, however we’re not going to be showing anything there ourselves. We’ll share more details about @cyberpunkgame when we’re ready.

It’s better this way. Now we know that Cyberpunk 2077 won’t be at the show.

Cyberpunk 2077 is now in development for PC, Xbox One, and PS4.
