When it debuted the PlayStation Classic was met with a lot of positive acclaimed. However, once the full list of games was released the opinions shifted due to the absence of critically acclaimed titles such as Crash Bandicoot, Spyro, and Tomb Raider that made the PlayStation console such a hit. Today, we got more information about the system from Sony.

In a PlayStation Blog post, Sony revealed new details regarding the classic console with new images. Sid Shuman, director of social media, explained that the system’s controllers feel exactly like the original models launched in NA. In addition, the system mimics the same iconic boot sound and replicated memory card management screen.

Similar to the SNES Classic players can create a Resume point by pressing the reset button.

The PlayStation Classic launches this December 3rd for $99.99.
