Those worried that Hitman 2 won’t reach its launch date shouldn’t worry anymore. IO Interactive has confirmed Hitman 2 has gone gold. We're incredibly proud and excited to announce that HITMAN 2 has GONE GOLD! November is fast approaching and we can't wait for the game to be in your hands! pic.twitter.com/vd3QpkAjBi — IO Interactive (@IOInteractive) September 27, 2018 Going gold means that development has been completed. Now production of copies and cases will begin, ready to ship throughout the world. In addition, expect a day one patch as the developers are most likely testing the game even in its finished state to ensure everything is running smoothly. Hitman 2 will follow a similar pattern as the 2016 release. With Agent 47 taking on contracts for the ICA to eliminate high valued targets. The game will have 6 missions in 6 locations couple. Players can replay missions for higher scores and more limitations to prove they’re the best assassin in the world. Considering the original game still has a strong community you can expect a lot of players competing for that top position. Hitman 2 launches November 13th for Xbox One, PS4, and PC.
