Global gaming festival DreamHack has just announced that Dragon Ball FighterZ will be added to the DreamHack Winter events list in the form of a Dragon Radar event. In a nutshell, Dragon Radar events can be summed up as offline qualifiers for the DBFZ World Tour. Those who claim first place at these events are awarded with a plane ticket and lodging to any upcoming Saga World Tour event. DreamHack Winter’s winner, specifically, will be sent to compete in the USA’s Last Chance Qualifier at the end of January. We are proud to announce that the DRAGON BALL FighterZ World Tour will be coming to DreamHack Winter 2018 in the form of a Dragon Radar Event. The winner will get tickets to the LAST CHANCE QUALIFIER in the US next year, and fight for their right to be part of the FINALS! pic.twitter.com/FxkSTZXWqo — DreamHack (@DreamHack) September 6, 2018 Should a person win every main event, collecting the lion’s share of a $5,000 prize pool per event and claiming that event’s Dragon Ball, they will receive a bye that will take them directly to the World Tour grand finals. As it stands, Ryota “Kazunoko” Inoue is the only player with the possibility of taking advantage of this offer, as he received his first Dragon Ball from winning CEO‘s Dragon Ball FighterZ tournament. DreamHack Winter will be taking place at the Elmbia Exhibition and Convention Center in Jönköping, Sweden from November 30th – December 3rd. Those who wish to compete in the Dragon Ball FigherZ event can register as early as next week. Otherwise, fans at home can catch the action on the World Tour’s official Twitch channel.
