Double Fine Productions is known for an array of classic games such as Costume Quest and Psychonauts. Now Brutal Legend has been made backward compatible with Xbox One. In honor of @jackblack's new star, we've made Brütal Legend run on the Xbox One! Okay, so it was the Xbox backwards compatibility team that did the work, not us, and releasing today was a coincidence. (Or was it?) BUT STILL, THE METAL GODS ARE PLEASED!https://t.co/fRJxwOPXSE pic.twitter.com/6wQDI8ZwWP — TimOfLegend &:Y} (@TimOfLegend) September 18, 2018 Those with physical and digital copies of the game can play it on Xbox One. Brutal Legend was one of Double Fine’s less appealing games. Despite receiving popular acclaim for its soundtrack and narrative the game’s marketing campaign misled a lot of gamers. Advertised as an action-adventure title many were confused to find out that the game had heavy RTS elements. Something that was rarely shown or discussed when the game was in development.
