It’s safe to say that Monster Hunter: World is one of the biggest successes this year. After being a franchise for a specific type of gamer the latest installment has won over thousands of new fans and since its recent launch on PC, that number has grown even more. Now, Capcom has confirmed that Monster Hunter: World has shipped 10 million copies.

On Capcom’s official site the company stated:

Monster Hunter: World, the best-selling title in company history, achieved this 10 million-unit milestone following the titles’ PC release on the globally accessible Steam platform, allowing the game to appeal to a wider fan base spread across a greater number of regions, and in combination with continued robust sales of the home console version of the game even now, more than six months after its release.

This is an impressive feat and considering Capcom’s dedication to keeping the community active it’s likely we’ll see more content in the months to come.

Monster Hunter: World is now available for PC, Xbox One, and PS4. You can check out our review here.
