The most infamous lawsuit among gamers is the case against Epic Games and PUBG Corp. Now the developers of PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds have dropped the lawsuit.

The lawsuit surfaced this year with the developers of PUBG accusing Fortnite developers of ripping off the Battle Royale formula with Fortnite Battle Royale. Pointing out similar features and threatened legal action.

The withdrawal was reported by Bloomberg, but no solid reason was provided. Speculation is that the settlement came from both Epic and PUBG. Corp or perhaps PUBG. Corp decided not to pursue the case any further.

PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds is now available for PC and early access on Xbox One. Fortnite is now available for Xbox One, PS4, PC, mobile devices, and Nintendo Switch.
