FromSoftware‘s mysterious new title has a name and one hell of a trailer. The game we previously saw at The Game Awards is not Bloodborne or Tenchu; it’s a totally new IP, Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice. Activision will be teaming up with them to publish this title.

Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice takes us into a feudal Japanese world of warring samurai clans. The game’s protagonist is a samurai with a prosthetic arm, who can use this grappling hook to rappel into stealthy positions.

Not many details are known about the story or gameplay, but the trailer has plenty in common with previous FromSoftware titles. You can clearly see swordplay with Souls series-like pacing and parries. There’s also a lot of shared visual identity with FromSoft’s Tenchu series.

Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice will be coming to Xbox One in 2019.
