Today, Walmart Canada leaked a lot of major titles that were probably set to be revealed at E3 2018. One of those games was Rage 2, a sequel to the 2011 release on the Xbox 360, PS3, and PC. While none of the game’s revealed have been confirmed by their respected publishers and developer Bethesda may have teased Rage 2 as legitimate. Hey @WalmartCanada here are a few notes. pic.twitter.com/R1od2aTEMC — RAGE (@RAGEgame) May 9, 2018 Rage’s official Twitter posted an image of the box art containing incorrect font, artwork, and missing age rating, but these blank boxes are common before the official rating and artwork have been provided by the company and ESRB/PEGI rating’s board. What added fuel to the fire was Bethesda’s Vice President of Marketing Pete Hines who stated “This is why we can’t have nice things.” This is why we can’t have nice things. https://t.co/ZhOHGsITfp — Pete Hines (@DCDeacon) May 9, 2018 Many assume this is a soft confirmation, and also adds to the rumor mills that Doom won’t be getting a sequel announced this year, but instead Rage. We won’t have to wait long as Bethesda’s conference is set for Monday, June 10th.
