Looks like SEGA won’t be releasing a special edition system similar to Nintendo’s NES and SNES Classic but they do have plans for a classic collection of their own. The SEGA Genesis Classic is coming this year for Xbox One and PS4.

The collection includes games from Streets of Rage, Sonic 3D Blast, Altered Beast, and much more from the SEGA Genesis era along with modern updates such as mirror mode, rewind, achievements/trophies, and online multiplayer.

PC gamers will not be getting the collection, but the enhanced versions of the collections’ games will be coming. Those who own the Steam version of any of the titles in the collection will get the updated version free.

SEGA Classic Edition releases on May 29th for Xbox One and PS4.
